If everyone who thinks the government should take money in the form of taxes and then spend it to "support the arts" actually spent their own money on real art, the perceived need for government support of art would disappear. Government committees should not be the determining factor in who is or is not a good artist. 

Don't die before you're dead. Nothing would be green without CO2.  Do not question authority - they don't know the answer either.  The "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act" does not protect patients and is not affordable. 

If the government is the answer the question was stupid.   Back in the thirties we were told we must collectivize the nation because the people were so poor. Now we are told we must collectivize the nation because the people are so rich. – William F. Buckley Jr.
